Consarc acted as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor for the Holiday Inn Manchester city centre, which opened in April 2016. The 298-room hotel introduces the brand’s Open Lobby concept locally, combining a restaurant, Starbucks café, business centre, and lounge within a flexible, social environment. Guests benefit from complimentary Wi-Fi throughout, with standard and executive rooms featuring DVD/CD players and 40-inch LCD Smart HD televisions.

The hotel’s design celebrates Manchester’s heritage, with suites and function rooms named after local musicians as well as Manchester United and City football players. Meeting facilities are fully equipped, offering terrace spaces, Bose sound systems, and Barco ClickShare wireless presentation technology with HDMI and VGA connectivity. Located adjacent to Piccadilly Station, the hotel provides excellent access to transport links, city nightlife, and key attractions including the National Football Museum and the Imperial War Museum. Consarc oversaw all aspects of financial management, cost control, and programme delivery, delivering a high-quality, centrally located hotel that blends modern amenities with local character.
