The project involved refurbishing and modernising a historic building, carefully blending period features with contemporary design to create a distinctive guest experience. The hotel offers individually styled bedrooms and suites, designed to provide comfort and luxury while reflecting the character and heritage of the building. Public areas include a welcoming lobby, intimate lounges, and dining spaces that combine traditional charm with modern amenities.

Consarc Conservation acted as lead consultants, managing design, planning, and delivery to ensure the building’s heritage elements were preserved and enhanced. Original architectural details, such as ornate plasterwork, timber panelling, and sash windows, were carefully restored, while modern mechanical, electrical, and fire safety systems were integrated discreetly. Sustainability was also a priority, with upgrades improving energy efficiency and reducing the hotel’s environmental footprint. The project successfully balances historic conservation with contemporary hospitality standards, making Hotel 7 a stylish and inviting destination for visitors to Dublin.
