Bailey Point Student Accommodation, Bournemouth

Belaton House in Bournemouth is an eight‑storey, purpose-built student accommodation project providing 399 bedrooms, with one basement level, on the south-east side of the site. Developed by The Student Housing Company and constructed by McAleer & Rushe, the scheme began in late 2017 and was completed in mid‑2019, with a contract value of around £24 million. The building offers a mix of three‑ to eight‑bed apartments, two-person studios, and single studios, designed to meet a range of student living needs.

Communal facilities include a reception, common rooms, cycle storage, plant space, laundry and bin areas, gym, cinema room, and study spaces, creating a vibrant student environment. The façade combines zinc, render, brick and stone, giving the building a contemporary look that fits its urban setting. The site is within walking distance of Bournemouth University’s Lansdowne Campus and has easy bus access to Talbot Campus. It is also located opposite the train station and local shops. Utilities, high-speed Wi‑Fi, and content insurance are typically included in rent, and the building is staffed and secured 24/7.
