Hampton by Hilton, Bath

The project involved the demolition of the former Ralph Allen Bath College building to make way for a new 202-bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel in the heart of Bath. The six-storey contemporary building features a street-level bar, restaurant, and gym, alongside supporting facilities, highway improvements, drainage works, and landscaped areas.

Situated within Bath’s conservation area and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the scheme required careful consideration of its sensitive historic context. The design successfully balances modern hotel requirements with the city’s distinctive architectural character, delivering high-quality accommodation that enhances Bath’s tourism and business travel offer.
